Overview

The PPC Air Box Pulse Bag Dust Collector is an advanced type of industrial dust collector designed for high-performance air filtration in industrial environments. Its structure consists of several key components: a housing, ash hopper, ash discharge system, bracket, and a pulse jet dust cleaning system. When dust-laden air enters the unit, it first encounters an inclined baffle in the air inlet that redirects the airflow into the ash hopper. The reduction in airflow speed causes larger dust particles to fall directly into the hopper due to inertia, providing a first stage of dust separation.

The remaining air moves upward and passes through the filter bags, which are supported by metal frames. The dust particles are captured on the outer surface of the filter bags, while the purified air enters the clean chamber above and is then discharged through the outlet pipe.

One notable feature of the pulse jet dust collector is its offline cleaning process. During this operation, only one chamber is cleaned at a time, ensuring that the airflow is temporarily blocked in that chamber. This prevents dust from being re-entrained into the air, maintaining a cleaner environment. As a result, the PPC air box pulse dust collector is capable of handling air with dust concentrations as high as 1000g/m², making it perfect for industrial processes that generate heavy dust loads.

The PPC Air Box Pulse Baghouse Dust Collector is a versatile dust removal system that provides efficient dust extraction and air filtration for a variety of industries, including chemical manufacturing, mining, and power generation. Its design allows for reliable, continuous operation, making it an essential tool for businesses seeking to meet stringent environmental and safety standards.

FAQ
Q : What parameters are required for designing a dust collector?
A: To accurately design a dust collector, we need the following parameters: air volume, pressure, local emission standards, and whether the system will handle dust or flue gas. If dealing with flue gas, the temperature must also be provided.
Q : Can we design a dust collector if the customer only provides a factory layout without specific parameters?
A: Yes, we can design a dust collector based on the customer's factory layout and provide a proposal and quotation to ensure compatibility with the existing space and optimal system arrangement.
Q : What materials are used for filter bags?
A: We provide filter bags in various materials, including polyester needle-punched felt, PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), to accommodate different operating conditions and dust characteristics.
Q : What is the minimum emission standard that can be achieved?
A: Our dust collectors can meet extremely low emission standards, with the lowest achievable emission level being below 1mg/m³, complying with strict environmental regulations.
Q : What are the available dust discharge methods?
A: The dust discharge methods include bulk bag collection, dust bucket collection, and screw conveyors. The most suitable method can be selected based on the customer's processing requirements and site conditions.
Q : What is the typical service life of a dust collector?
A: Under normal usage and proper maintenance, a dust collector typically has a service life of over 10 years.
Q : Can the dust collector be customized?
A: Yes, we offer customized solutions based on the customer's specific requirements and operating conditions to design and manufacture the most suitable dust collector.
