Overview

The HD Series Single-Unit Dust Collector is a high-efficiency Dust Extraction System tailored for dust removal at cement plant tops, bottoms, and localized sources. Designed for versatility, this Baghouse Dust Collector is also widely applicable across industries such as ceramics, glass, and chemical processing. Its advanced Industrial Dust Extraction Unit incorporates durable filter materials, a user-friendly structure, and multiple customization options to suit various needs.

Key Features

  1. Compact and Space-Saving Design: The system’s vertical structure ensures minimal footprint while delivering maximum efficiency.
  2. Durable Filter Material: Constructed with industrial-grade polyester twill or needle felt, ensuring long service life and optimal dust filtration.
  3. Advanced Cleaning Mechanism: Automatic and manual dust cleaning options ensure consistent performance. The motor-driven system vibrates the filter bags, effectively removing dust.
  4. Customizable Dust Disposal Options: Available with ash hoppers or drawer systems for flexible and efficient dust collection and disposal.
  5. Versatile Applications: Suitable for industries like cement, ceramics, metalworking, and woodworking, offering reliable dust removal for a wide range of materials, including cement dust, carbon powder, and gypsum.

Structure

The HD Series Dust Collector comprises three main components:

  1. Fan Unit: Universal standard fans with low noise and vibration isolation, offering easy replacement and repair.
  2. Filter Bags: High-quality filter materials designed for efficient dust capture and long-term durability.
  3. Ash Hopper: Available in various configurations (drawer-type or hopper-type) for convenient dust removal.

Working Principle

Dust-laden air enters the unit via the inlet and passes through the filter bags. The dust is retained on the inner surface of the bags, while clean air exits through the fan. Over time, as dust accumulates, the resistance increases. The automatic cleaning mechanism activates to vibrate the filter bags, dislodging the dust into the ash hopper or drawer. This process ensures continuous operation and high filtration efficiency.

Scope of Application

In addition to cement plants, the HD Series is highly effective for industries such as:

  • Ceramics: Removing raw material and finished product dust.
  • Glass Manufacturing: Capturing fine particulates during production.
  • Metalworking: Managing heavy dust from metal cutting and grinding.
  • Chemical Processing: Handling gypsum, carbon, and asbestos powder.
  • Woodworking: Efficiently filtering lightweight wood dust.

This Heavy-Duty Dust Collector is designed to ensure emission concentrations remain below national standards.

Instructions for Use

  1. Position the dust collector near the dust-generating equipment.
  2. Check all joints and flanges for airtightness before operation.
  3. Connect the 380V power supply and verify the fan rotation direction.
  4. Adjust cleaning frequency based on dust characteristics and concentration.
  5. Use a properly designed dust hood to ensure optimal dust collection performance.

Maintenance

  • Inspect filter bags regularly; replace damaged or worn bags promptly (recommended yearly replacement).
  • Examine the dust cleaning mechanism every six months to ensure proper function.
  • Contact the manufacturer for spare parts or repair services.

Precautions

  1. This unit is not suitable for humid or corrosive gases and should not be used for gases above 120°C. For high-temperature applications, request customized filter bags.
  2. In case of abnormal operation, shut down the unit immediately and inspect.
  3. Follow proper shutdown procedures, allowing the cleaning mechanism to complete its cycle before turning off the power.

FAQ
Q : What parameters are required for designing a dust collector?
A: To accurately design a dust collector, we need the following parameters: air volume, pressure, local emission standards, and whether the system will handle dust or flue gas. If dealing with flue gas, the temperature must also be provided.
Q : Can we design a dust collector if the customer only provides a factory layout without specific parameters?
A: Yes, we can design a dust collector based on the customer's factory layout and provide a proposal and quotation to ensure compatibility with the existing space and optimal system arrangement.
Q : What materials are used for filter bags?
A: We provide filter bags in various materials, including polyester needle-punched felt, PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), to accommodate different operating conditions and dust characteristics.
Q : What is the minimum emission standard that can be achieved?
A: Our dust collectors can meet extremely low emission standards, with the lowest achievable emission level being below 1mg/m³, complying with strict environmental regulations.
Q : What are the available dust discharge methods?
A: The dust discharge methods include bulk bag collection, dust bucket collection, and screw conveyors. The most suitable method can be selected based on the customer's processing requirements and site conditions.
Q : What is the typical service life of a dust collector?
A: Under normal usage and proper maintenance, a dust collector typically has a service life of over 10 years.
Q : Can the dust collector be customized?
A: Yes, we offer customized solutions based on the customer's specific requirements and operating conditions to design and manufacture the most suitable dust collector.
