Application


The Y9-19 and Y9-26 Series Induced Draft Fans are built to resolve problems caused by the installation of dust removal and waste heat utilization equipment in boilers, which often result in insufficient suction and positive pressure inside the furnace. This can disrupt normal boiler operations and combustion stability. These fans are developed with enhanced performance, providing sufficient air volume and pressure for safe and efficient boiler operation.
 

Structural Type


The Y9-19 and Y9-26 series fans are available in both right-handed and left-handed configurations. When viewed from the motor end, a clockwise impeller rotation is defined as a right-handed fan (denoted as "right"), while a counterclockwise rotation is defined as a left-handed fan (denoted as "left"). The outlet position of the fan is specified by the casing’s outlet angle, with configurations available at 0°, 90°, 180°, and, if required, at 45°, 135°, 225°, and 270°. To ensure correct setup, users should specify both the rotation direction and the outlet angle when placing an order. The transmission mode is a C-type configuration, which allows for easy adjustment of the main shaft speed to modify the fan’s performance.

Structural Characteristics

The Y9-19 and Y9-26 Boiler Induced Draft Fans consist of key components, including an impeller, casing, regulating door, transmission parts, and air inlet.

The impeller is rigorously tested for overspeed resistance and static and dynamic balance, resulting in excellent aerodynamic performance, low noise, high efficiency, and stable operation.
  2. 2. The casing is a spiral structure, made from welded steel plates, providing durability and stability under high-pressure conditions.
  3. 3. The regulating door is used to control the air volume, ensuring the fan operates at the optimal air volume and pressure required for different boiler conditions.
  4. 4. The transmission part includes the main shaft, rolling bearings, bearing box, and pulley. The main shaft is constructed from high-grade steel, and the rolling bearings ensure smooth rotation. The bearing box is equipped with sufficient capacity for cooling oil, as well as an oil level indicator to guarantee normal operation and reduce maintenance needs.


Performance and Selection

The performance parameters of the Y9-19 and Y9-26 induced draft fans, including flow rate, total pressure, main shaft speed, internal power, and efficiency, are calculated under conditions of t=200℃, Pa=101325Pa, and ρ=0.74kg/m³. If the operating conditions differ from these parameters, the performance should be recalculated using the appropriate formula. When choosing a motor, ensure that its power capacity meets or exceeds the required performance values.
  2. 2. The Y9-19 and Y9-26 fans are designed to match the specific operating conditions of the boiler. When using the fans with a standard boiler, select the fan from the performance table. If the boiler undergoes modifications that alter its pressure, use the performance table to select the fan based on the updated flue gas volume and resistance. For non-boiler applications, the performance values should be recalculated based on the actual operating conditions. These fans are typically equipped with a flow adjustment device or use the regulating door attached to the boiler, allowing real-time performance adjustments according to the boiler’s load changes.
