Application

In modern industries, boiler systems come in multiple configurations and are often influenced by varying coal quality. Additionally, after integrating heat recovery and dust removal systems, inadequate draft is a common issue that can impact boiler efficiency. The Y6-30 series high-pressure centrifugal blower has been designed to address this problem, maintaining the proper pressure and ensuring optimal combustion. This centrifugal fan is tailored for industrial boiler applications, delivering precise airflow control and high efficiency.

Model types and design

The Y6-30 series centrifugal fan includes seven different machine sizes: No. 3.5C, 4.3C, 4.8C, 5.4C, 6.5C, 7.5C, and 8.6C.

  1. 1. This industrial blower is available in both right-hand and left-hand designs. The fan's rotation direction is defined by how the impeller turns when viewed from the motor’s end. Clockwise rotation is termed as "right-hand," while counterclockwise rotation is identified as "left-hand".
  2. 2. The fan’s outlet direction is determined by the casing angle, with both left and right-hand versions offering multiple options (0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°) to suit specific airflow needs. Customers are advised to specify the rotation direction and outlet angle when placing orders.
  3. 3. The fan is available in two transmission types: C type and D type.

Rotation and outlet positioning

This centrifugal blower can rotate in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The right-hand or left-hand orientation is defined by how the impeller moves when viewed from the motor’s side. The fan’s outlet can be adjusted to several angles to optimize airflow, with options such as 45°, 90°, 135°, and more.

 

Structure and components

The Y6-30 centrifugal fan is constructed from five major parts: impeller, casing, air damper, transmission, and air inlet.
① The impeller consists of multiple blades and a robust design made from steel plates. The entire impeller assembly is dynamically balanced to ensure efficient performance, low noise, and smooth operations.
② The casing is a durable spiral structure, fully welded from steel plates.
③ An adjustable air damper is included with most Y6-30 industrial centrifugal fans, allowing for control of air volume and pressure as required by the boiler’s operation.
④ The transmission system consists of a high-quality main shaft made from top-grade steel, housed within a bearing box. The bearings are of rolling type, and the bearing box has ample space for cooling oil, along with an oil level indicator for smooth functioning.

Performance and selection criteria

  • The performance of this high-pressure centrifugal fan is measured in terms of airflow, total pressure, speed, shaft power, and overall efficiency. The data provided in the performance charts assumes a working temperature of 200°C, atmospheric pressure of 101300Pa, and a flue gas density of 0.745kg/m³. Any variations in these conditions should be accounted for through formula-based adjustments. The motor’s power capacity typically includes a safety factor of 1.3.
  • Fan selection
    ① The Y6-30 centrifugal blower is designed for optimal performance when used with industrial boilers. Fan selection can be made by referring to the performance charts. In cases where the boiler's output changes, adjustments should be made based on airflow and resistance.
    ② For non-boiler applications, consult the performance data and adjust accordingly.
    ③ The blower is typically equipped with a flow regulation device at the air inlet (or utilize the boiler's built-in regulating valve) to fine-tune air pressure and volume for specific needs.
