Application

The Y5-48 centrifugal fan is developed to support industrial boilers with capacities ranging from 1 to 20t/h. It is especially effective in systems that burn different coal types and require smoke and dust removal. The fan is capable of operating under air intake conditions where temperatures do not exceed 250°C. To maximize the longevity and efficiency of the fan, it is recommended to install a dust removal device with a minimum efficiency of 85%, reducing the dust content in the flue gas.

Design and Configuration

The Y5-48 fan adopts a single-suction design and is available in six sizes: No.4, 5, 6.3, 8, 10, and 12.5. This model can be configured for either clockwise (right-hand) or counterclockwise (left-hand) rotation. The outlet position is highly flexible, with six different angles to choose from: 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, and 225°.

3. 3. Air Inlet: The air inlet is designed as a streamlined, convergent structure, bolted securely to the casing for optimal airflow.
4. 4. Regulating Door: Equipped with petal-shaped blades, the regulating door allows for precise control of airflow, with 9 blades for smaller models and 11 blades for larger ones. The external transmission design enhances ease of operation, supported by high-temperature grease for reliable lubrication.
5. 5. Transmission System: The fan’s transmission system includes a water-cooled bearing setup, made from high-quality steel, with integrated monitoring tools like a thermometer and oil level indicator for maintaining proper lubrication and performance.
