Application


Y10-21, Y10-24, Y8-24 high-efficiency and low-noise induced draft fans are designed to match industrial boilers (1t/h, 2t/h, 4t/h) that burn various coal qualities and are equipped with smoke and dust removal devices; they can be used with comparable air intake conditions and comparable performance. The maximum temperature shall not exceed 250℃. A dust removal device with an efficiency of not less than 85% must be installed in front of the induced draft fan to reduce the dust content of the smoke entering the fan, so as to increase the life of the fan.
 

Form


  • 1. The induced draft machine is made of single suction. There are 4 types of machine numbers: No.5, No.6.3, No.8, and No.9.
  • 2. Induced draft fans can be made into right-hand or left-hand fans. When looking at the fan from the motor end, if the impeller rotates clockwise, it is called a right-hand fan, represented by "right"; if the impeller rotates counterclockwise, it is called a left-hand fan, represented by "left".
  • 3. The outlet position of the fan is indicated by the outlet angle of the fan casing. Both right-hand and left-hand fans can be made into 6 angles: 0°, 45°, 90°, 125°, 180°, and 225°.

Structural Characteristics

 

Two types of drive are equipped for induced draft fans of different tonnages: D type (direct connection) and C type (belt drive). Among them, Y8-24 and Y10-21 are D or C type drives, and Y10-24 is C type drive. The D type drive has a slightly larger machine number, a lower speed (n=1450r/min), and better wear resistance; the C type drive has a slightly smaller machine number and a slightly higher speed (n=1750~2100r/min), but both achieve the required pressure head at the minimum linear speed to reduce noise and wear resistance. This fan has low noise, ensuring that it is less than 85dB within the operating conditions. Using some analysis results of two-phase flow, wear resistance is considered from the flow channel shape. Various induced draft fans with different requirements can be selected from this group. The fan consists of an impeller, a casing, an air inlet, a transmission part, an integral bracket, etc.

  2. 1. For Y10-21 and Y8-24 series impellers, except for the blades, all other parts are common and made of Q345 (16Mn).
    Blades. Y10-21 and Y10-24 are composed of 12 long blades and 12 short blades, a total of 24 blades, all of which are forward curved blades, welded between the arc-conical front disc and the flat rear disc. After static and dynamic balance correction, it runs smoothly and has high strength.
  3. 2. The casing is welded with steel plates into a spiral shape. No.9 fans are suitable for both right-hand and left-hand rotation.
  4. 3. The convergent-divergent air inlet is made into an integral structure and fixed to the inlet side of the casing with bolts.
  5. 4. The regulating door is an accessory of the induced draft fan, used to adjust the flow of the fan. No.5 is a butterfly-shaped blade, and No.6.3~No.9 are petal-shaped blades, which are axially installed in front of the air inlet. Due to the use of an external transmission structure, the rotation is flexible and convenient. The adjustment range is from 0° (fully open) to 90° (fully closed). The lever position of the regulating door is on the right side from the air inlet direction. For a right-handed fan, pushing the lever from bottom to top is from fully closed to fully open; for a left-handed fan, pulling the lever from top to bottom is from fully closed to fully open. In order for the various parts of the regulating door to work properly, they must be well lubricated. The grease uses molybdenum disulfide high-temperature (260℃) grease, and the lubrication effect can only be guaranteed when the fan is at high temperature.
  6. 5. The transmission part consists of the main shaft, bearing box, pulley, coupling, etc. The main shaft is made of high-quality steel and uses rolling bearings. The bearing box is water-cooled, so a water pipe must be installed. The water consumption varies with the ambient temperature, generally 0.5-1m³/h. The bearing box is equipped with a thermometer and an oil level indicator. The lubricating oil uses the full-loss system oil L-AN46, and the amount of oil added is based on the requirements of the oil level mark.

 

Performance and Selection


Here we only give the dimensionless performance table of the Y10-21, Y10-24, and Y8-24 prototypes. The dimensionless performance of the fan is calculated from this performance table. The performance of the fan generally refers to the performance of conveying gas under specified conditions. The specified conditions of Y10-24 No.5C-No.6.3C are atmospheric pressure Pa=101300Pa, medium is flue gas, gas temperature t=250℃, gas density p=0.674kg/m³. The specified conditions of No.8-No.9C and D are atmospheric pressure Pa=101300Pa, medium is flue gas, gas temperature t=200℃, gas density p=0.745kg/m³. The performance table of the fan with a regulating door refers to the parameters when the regulating door blade is fully open. When the use conditions do not match the specified conditions, the performance of the non-specified state must be converted to the performance of the specified state.
