Application

 

The GG2-1 to GG6-1 and GY2-1 to GY6-1 series centrifugal fans are ideal for supporting 2t/h, 4t/h, and 6t/h industrial boilers. With considerations for different types of boilers, fuel quality, and system resistances (such as dust collectors and economizers), these fans provide consistent air pressure and volume for reliable performance. The fans’ key characteristics include a high-efficiency zone and flat performance curve, making them well-suited for smoke and dust extraction, contributing to a cleaner environment. Their two-speed motor allows for adjustments to fit various operational demands, providing significant energy savings. For optimal performance, it is necessary to install a dust filtration system to ensure that the dust content entering the fan remains low, with an efficiency rating of at least 85%.

 

Form


  1. 1. The centrifugal fans and induced draft fans are built with single-suction designs. Right-hand or left-hand rotational direction is determined by viewing the impeller from the motor end, ensuring flexible installation.
  2. 2. The fan outlet can be configured with different angles, such as 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, and 225°, to accommodate various installation setups.
  3. 3. Transmission modes include both Type A and Type D, enabling compatibility with a wide range of applications and operational environments.

Structural Characteristics

 

The structure of these fans includes an impeller, housing, air inlet, bracket, transmission part, and adjustment mechanism:

  2. 1. Impeller: The centrifugal fan impellers feature either 10 or 12 blades, while the induced draft fan impellers have 16 or 12 blades. All impellers are dynamically balanced to ensure smooth and reliable operation, leading to extended service life.
  3. 2. Casing: The fan housing is constructed from durable, welded steel in a volute shape to ensure efficient airflow.
  4. 3. Air Inlet: The inlet is designed with a convergent streamlined structure that is bolted securely to the housing, ensuring efficient air intake.
  5. 4. Adjustment Mechanism: Both fans include an adjustable airflow mechanism with petal-shaped blades, enabling flexible control over airflow volume. The adjustment range is from 90° (fully closed) to 0° (fully open), providing precise airflow management.
  6. 5. Transmission System: The system comprises a high-quality steel main shaft, coupling, and bearing box. The induced draft fan's bearing box includes a cooling mechanism and oil level indicator, using L-AN46 oil for lubrication. The cooling system uses 0.5-1 m³/h of water, depending on operating conditions.

 

Performance and Selection


The performance of the fans, including parameters such as air volume, total pressure, shaft speed, and efficiency, is based on standard operating conditions (air at 20°C and 101325 Pa). For induced draft fans, performance is calculated with a flue gas temperature of 200°C. The performance tables reflect operation with the adjustment mechanism fully open at 0°. If your operating conditions differ, performance should be recalculated accordingly.
