Industrial Boiler Centrifugal Blower and High-Temperature Induced Draft Fan

Overview

This specialized centrifugal fan series is crafted for use in circulating fluidized bed and boiling boilers, facilitating effective airflow and gas management. The centrifugal blower supports air up to 80°C, while the induced draft fan accommodates flue gases at temperatures as high as 250°C. Integrating a dust removal system before the induced draft fan optimizes operation by reducing particulate matter, ensuring clean, efficient performance for power plant applications.

Configuration

  1. 1. Single-Inlet Design: Each centrifugal fan is designed with a single-inlet structure to enhance airflow control.
  2. 2. Rotation Orientation: Observing from the motor end, clockwise rotation signifies a right-hand fan, while counterclockwise rotation indicates a left-hand fan.
  3. 3. Outlet Angle: The outlet angle on the casing denotes the fan’s air outlet direction, providing clarity for accurate installation.
  4. 4. Drive System: The fan’s D-type transmission employs a pin coupling, offering steady performance in heavy-duty environments.

Structural Features

These industrial centrifugal fans incorporate an impeller, casing, inlet, regulating door, and transmission system, ensuring reliability and durability for industrial operations.

  1.
  2. 1. Impeller: Fabricated with forward-curved blades, the impeller is welded between the conical front plate and flat back plate, achieving a balanced structure that ensures smooth, reliable function.
  3. 2. Casing: Constructed from robust steel in a volute shape, the casing enhances durability and supports prolonged use.
  4. 3. Air Inlet: A streamlined, convergent air inlet structure optimizes airflow into the impeller, reducing resistance and enhancing operational efficiency.
  5. 4. Regulating Door: Positioned at the air inlet, this adjustable door controls airflow from 0° (fully open) to 90° (fully closed). For right-hand fans, the lever opens from bottom to top; for left-hand fans, it opens from top to bottom. Lubrication is essential for all moving parts: standard fans use calcium-sodium grease, while the induced draft fan utilizes high-temperature molybdenum disulfide grease for optimal performance at elevated temperatures.
  6. 5. Transmission Mechanism: The main shaft, made of premium steel with rolling bearings, ensures durability and smooth function. The induced draft fan integrates a water-cooled bearing box, providing thermal stability in high-heat operations.

Performance and Adjustment Options

Flow inconsistencies may occur due to various operational conditions, such as changes in pipe network resistance or variations in fan pressure. To address this:

  1. 1. Adjusting Pipe Resistance: Differences between actual and calculated pipe resistance can lead to flow variation; reducing resistance increases flow, while increased resistance reduces it.
  2. 2. Managing Pressure Deviation: Positive pressure deviation increases flow, while negative deviation decreases it.
  3.

Flow adjustments can be made by modifying the regulating door’s position, altering fan speed, or selecting a fan with the appropriate pressure level. When the actual airflow is significantly above the desired rate, reducing speed or selecting a fan with a lower pressure rating is more efficient. If the airflow remains insufficient even with the regulating door fully open, reducing pipe resistance or selecting a higher-pressure fan may be required. Standard performance is calculated under atmospheric pressure (pa=101300Pa), at a gas temperature of 175°C, with a gas density of ρ=0.785kg/m³. Performance values should be converted for any deviations from these standard conditions to ensure optimal fan selection.
