Application

The 9-16No.6.3 Sealed Centrifugal Fan is a specialized equipment used in China Construction Coal Mills. It provides matching pressure, high pressure, low noise, and a flat performance curve, making it ideal for coal mill operations.

Structural CharacteristicsStructural features

This Industrial Centrifugal Fan comprises an air filter, inlet silencer, inlet flexible connection, fan, outlet flexible connection, and outlet silencer. The fan outlet is connected to the outlet silencer via a connection joint. The air filter, made of loose sponge with a density of -50k/m³, requires regular replacement as it becomes blocked over time. The inlet and outlet silencers include a frame, sound-absorbing material, and glass cloth. To prevent performance issues, these components should be inspected and maintained regularly. The fan is equipped with non-metallic flexible joints at the inlet and outlet, which help isolate vibration and protect the foundation. The fan and motor share a common base with a vibration damper installed, and cement is added to the base to lower the center of gravity, ensuring stable operation.

Operation

  • Startup:
    ① Close the inlet damper.
    ② Verify the original dimensions of the fan parts and check for any collision or friction between rotating and fixed parts.
    ③ Ensure no one is standing in the semi-light direction of the impeller or near the coupling.
    ④ Check motor direction and meter readings. After startup, gradually open the adjustment door until the specified load is reached. The bearing temperature rise should not exceed 40°C during operation.

  • Emergency stop of fan:
    ① Stop the fan immediately if severe noise is detected.
    ② Stop if bearing temperature rises sharply.
    ③ Stop if the fan vibrates violently or if impacts are detected.


Fan protection

  • Fan maintenance must only be performed when the fan is stopped to ensure personal safety.
  • Regularly check the thermometer and oil mark sensitivity.
  • If any abnormality is detected during startup, shutdown, or operation, stop the fan immediately for inspection and troubleshooting. For minor faults, address them promptly; for major faults, stop the fan for detailed inspection and maintenance.
  • Replace lubricating oil after each inspection and every 3-6 months under normal conditions.
