Application

7-16 No. 7.5A sealed fan is a special equipment for medium-speed coal mill. This sealed fan is suitable for coal mill and coal mills with similar performance. It has the advantages of complete matching, high pressure, low noise, and flat performance curve.

Structural Characteristics

In addition to the conventional fan body, the sealed fan includes an air filter, a U-shaped pressure gauge, a regulating door, a motor, and a base. The air filter is composed of multiple layers of stainless steel metal mesh and is placed at the air inlet end of the centrifugal fan; the pressure difference of the U-shaped pressure gauge does not exceed 200Pa at first, but it gradually becomes blocked after use and needs to be replaced regularly (about one month). The replaced stainless steel metal mesh can be used many times after washing and drying. The centrifugal blower and the motor have a common base. The base is connected to the foundation with expansion bolts M12 x200. In order to lower the center of gravity of the centrifugal fan, cement should be filled in the base. The compression amount tested is generally not more than 8mm.

Operation

  • Startup:
    ① Close the regulating door at the inlet end;
    ② Check the gland size of each part of the centrifugal blower, and whether there is any collision or friction between the rotating part and the fixed part;
    ③ No one is allowed to stand in the radial direction of the impeller or near the coupling;
    ④ Check whether the motor direction and instrument are correct. When the centrifugal fan starts and reaches the normal speed, gradually open the adjustment door until the specified load is reached. The motor bearing temperature must not exceed 85°C during operation.

  • Emergency stop of fan:
    ① When the centrifugal blower is found to have severe noise;
    ② When the bearing temperature rises sharply;
    ③ When the centrifugal fan vibrates violently or impacts.


Maintenance

  • Regularly remove dust, dirt, and other impurities inside the centrifugal fan and prevent rust.
  • To ensure personal safety, centrifugal blower maintenance must be carried out when the fan is stopped.
  • When the centrifugal fan is started, stopped, or any abnormal phenomenon is found during operation, the fan should be stopped immediately for inspection. If a minor fault is found during the inspection, the cause should be promptly identified and eliminated. If a major fault is found, the centrifugal blower should be stopped immediately for inspection and maintenance.
