Application

 

The High-Performance MPS Series Sealed Centrifugal Fan provides essential ventilation support for medium-speed mills used in thermal power plant boiler systems. The fan system, compatible with models MPS170 through MPS255, combines high-pressure capacity with low noise levels to support efficient, stable airflow for industrial use. Its components—including air filtration, inlet/outlet silencers, soft inlet and outlet connections, and a fully lubricated transmission system—are optimized for durability and ease of maintenance.


Main Structural Components


  1. 1. Air Filter: The main filter utilizes a sponge material with a density of approximately 50kg/m³, maintaining efficient airflow and requiring regular cleaning or replacement to prevent blockage. The design allows for easy maintenance and reusable filtration materials to ensure consistent performance.
  2. 2. Silencers: Designed with sound-dampening materials, both the inlet and outlet silencers reduce operational noise. Silencer plates are easily replaceable, supporting continued noise suppression even under heavy use.
  3. 3. Flexible Connections: To minimize vibration impact, both inlet and outlet connections are made with durable, flexible materials, providing stability and ease of installation. Iron clamps and bolts are used for a secure fit.
  4. 4. Fan Assembly: The fan assembly includes a high-pressure, low-flow impeller, casing, and motor, all mounted on a base designed to dampen vibrations. Lubrication is provided by high-quality L-AN46 oil, with anti-vibration pads and a cement-filled base to stabilize the unit during operation.

Performance and Testing


The impeller’s balance is calibrated both statically and dynamically, ensuring smooth operation. Rigorous testing includes overspeed and performance trials under no-load conditions, followed by extended full-load testing to confirm reliability. Repaired units are tested for at least 30 minutes, while new installations undergo a minimum of 2 hours to verify stability and efficiency.


This Sealed Industrial Centrifugal Fan series is ideally suited for thermal power plant applications, providing high-efficiency performance in demanding industrial environments while maintaining noise control and energy savings.
