Application

GF6-18 high-pressure centrifugal fan is mainly suitable for pneumatic conveying of long flour production lines with a daily processing capacity of 150 to 300 tons of wheat. During the design and finalization process, this type of fan widely absorbed advanced technologies of fluid machinery at home and abroad, and was guided by flour experts from colleges, universities, and scientific research institutions many times, and finally achieved success. This type of fan has the characteristics of a wide range of high-efficiency operating conditions, low noise, beautiful appearance, stable operation, and not easy to drop materials. The total pressure and air volume take into account the needs of horizontal and induced suction feeders, providing flexible options for new plants and renovation of old plants. This type of fan can also be used for pneumatic conveying, forced ventilation, etc., in other fields. The gas it conveys must be non-toxic, harmless, non-corrosive, non-spontaneous, and the temperature must not exceed 80°C. The dust contained in the conveyed gas must not exceed 150 mg/m³.

Structural Features

The number of decimeters of the fan impeller diameter is the fan number, which is expressed in Arabic numerals. The letters after the machine number indicate the fan drive mode, which are A, C, and D. Type A fans are directly connected to the motor, and the impeller is installed on the motor shaft; Type C fans are cantilevered, with the pulley driving on the outside of the bearing; Type D fans are cantilevered, with support, and connected to the coupling for transmission. The fan has two rotation directions: left and right. Looking from one end of the motor, if the impeller rotates clockwise, it is right-handed, and vice versa, it is left-handed. The air outlet direction of the fan is generally made into 90°. If the user has special requirements, it can be indicated on the order. (See the figure for various outlet angles of the fan). The fan is mainly composed of an impeller, a casing, an air inlet ring, a bearing seat, etc. The wheel is composed of a curved wheel cover, blades, and a straight plate wheel disc and is statically and dynamically balanced. The bearing seat uses rolling bearings and is lubricated with calcium-based grease.

The dual plate structure helps in achieving better balance and reduces vibration, thereby increasing the overall lifespan of the fan.
