The GDGY Series Induced Draft Fan is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of fluidized bed boilers, high-efficiency boilers, and other industrial applications, such as chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, and construction. Key attributes include:

  3. 2. Optimized Efficiency: With a wide performance range and efficiency reaching up to 86%, this centrifugal fan maintains stable airflow across varying conditions. The flat curve enhances control over airflow with minimal noise.
  4. 3. Innovative Design: Featuring a patented approach, this series accommodates multiple impeller options per model, enabling seamless coverage of airflow and pressure requirements. This flexible design effectively removes performance gaps, providing a full operational range with efficiency exceeding 75% at all points.

  1. 1. Rotation Orientation: Available in both left-hand and right-hand models. Right-hand fans rotate clockwise when viewed from the motor end, and left-hand models rotate counterclockwise.
  2. 2. Outlet Direction: Both left and right models are available with outlet angles of 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, and 225° to suit different installation needs.
  3. 3. Single-Suction, D-Type Transmission: Built as a single-suction fan with a robust D-type transmission design, providing stable performance for extended use.

 

Structural Characteristics


  1. 1. Impeller: The impeller, crafted from high-quality Q345 (16Mn) steel, features single blades coated with wear-resistant material in critical areas. Balanced dynamically, it ensures smooth operation and resistance to wear.
  2. 2. Casing: The volute casing is constructed from durable welded steel plates, with configurations ranging from one-piece to three-piece structures depending on model size, providing easy maintenance access.
  3. 3. Air Inlet: Streamlined and convergent, the air inlet structure minimizes resistance and is bolted to the casing for reliable airflow.
  4. 4. Adjustable Door: The petal-shaped adjustment door allows for flexible control of airflow, fully adjustable from open to closed, using an external handle transmission.
  5. 5. Transmission System: The high-quality steel main shaft is supported by rolling bearings housed in a cast iron bearing box, with optional water or oil cooling based on operating conditions.

Performance and Selection


  1. 1. Performance Specifications: Flow, pressure, power, and speed specifications are given under standard intake conditions (temperature t₀ = 150°C, pressure p₀ = 101325Pa, gas density ρ₀ = 0.8312kg/m³). These parameters are defined for fully open adjustment doors and should be referenced during purchase.
  2. 2. Temperature Adjustment for Power: Shaft power adjustments for temperatures below 150°C can be calculated as follows: Shaft Power P₀ / P₁ = (ρ₀ / ρ₁) * (273 + t₁) / (273 + t₀).
  3. 3. Flow-Pressure Relationship: Flow, pressure, power, and speed are interrelated; to prevent motor overload, this fan should not operate at lower than specified temperatures without adjustments, nor should the speed exceed recommended levels.
