Application

The CPC type centrifugal fan is equipped with a radial narrow impeller and backward curved long blades. In industry, it is mainly used for high-pressure and small-flow air transportation.

Type

CPC type centrifugal fans are divided into 9 standard specifications, with impeller diameters ranging from 250 to 1000mm, and flow rates up to approximately 4.5m/s (16200m³/h). The pressure can reach about 10000 Pa. Fans of various sizes can be ordered with different widths to meet specific requirements. The specific size and capacity of these fans are determined according to user requirements. For example, special structures with sealed stuffing boxes and cooling coils can be specially made.

Main components

  • The casing is composed of two side plates and a volute. The casing is a welded structure made of steel plate.
  • The air inlet is installed on the air inlet side plate, with an interface for pipe connection. Its shape is designed so that the air flow enters the impeller without loss, and the material is cast iron.
  • The impeller is equipped with backward curved long blades suitable for high pressure and small flow. The material is steel plate, riveted.
  • The bracket is equipped with a support leg to support the bearing seat of the fan or the motor is installed on the bracket. The motor is installed on an adjustable plate to facilitate the tensioning of the transmission belt.
  • Shaft and bearings: For a rotating fan, the impeller shaft is installed on two thrust ball bearings. All parts of the fan are protected from general atmospheric corrosion.

Attachments

  • Motor: The impeller of a direct-connected fan is usually mounted directly on the motor shaft extension. Flexible connectors are used for the inlet and outlet flanges.
  • Butt flange: Used for fan outlet.
  • Flange: Used for air inlet.

Standard position

This refers to the position of the fan when viewed from the opposite side of the air inlet. The symbols used here are the same as "EUROVENT." The direction of rotation of the centrifugal fan defined in (European Fan Terminology) is consistent with the outlet direction, and the symbols used previously are shown in brackets.
