Application

 

The GG0.5-15 to GG20-15 and GY0.5-15 to GY20-15 Centrifugal Fans and Induced Draft Fans are purpose-built for 0.5 to 20t/h industrial boilers. These fans are well known for their high efficiency, stable performance, and wide operating range, making them suitable for managing air volume and pressure requirements in industrial environments. Their optimized design ensures effective ventilation and dust control, enhancing both operational efficiency and environmental compliance.

 

Form


These single-suction centrifugal and induced draft fans can be manufactured in right-hand or left-hand configurations. The rotational direction of the impeller determines the orientation: clockwise rotation indicates a right-handed fan, while counterclockwise rotation indicates a left-handed fan. The outlet direction can be customized at angles such as 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, and 225°, with other angles available upon request.

Drive Modes:

  • GG0.5-15, GG1-15, GG2-15, and GG4-15 fans use Type A drive mode.
  • GY0.5-15 and GY1-15 fans use Type C drive mode.
  • All other models use Type D drive mode.

Structural Characteristics

 

The fans consist of several key components including an impeller, casing, air inlet, frame, transmission system, and adjustable air door:

  1. 1. Impeller: Built with an arc-conical wheel cover, blades, and a flat wheel disc, the impeller is welded from high-strength steel plates and secured to the shaft. After static and dynamic balancing and an overspeed test, it ensures smooth and stable operation.
  2. 2. Casing: The casing is a durable volute-shaped structure made from high-quality welded steel plates.
  3. 3. Air Inlet: The streamlined air inlet design enhances airflow efficiency and is securely attached to the casing using bolts.
  4. 4. Adjustment Door: The adjustment door controls airflow, featuring petal-shaped blades and an external transmission mechanism. It allows flexible adjustment between 90° (fully closed) and 0° (fully open). The handle’s position and operation depend on whether the fan is right- or left-handed.
  5. 5. Frame: The frame is fabricated from sturdy steel sections to provide support and durability.
  6. 6. Transmission Part: Except for Type A models, the transmission system consists of a high-quality steel main shaft, coupling, and bearing box. The bearing box includes a thermometer and oil level indicator and uses L-AN46 oil for lubrication.

 

Performance and Selection


Performance metrics such as air volume, total pressure, shaft speed, power, and efficiency are key indicators of these fans. The performance for centrifugal fans is calculated under standard conditions: air temperature of 20°C, atmospheric pressure of 101325 Pa, and gas density of 1.2 kg/m³. For induced draft fans, the performance is based on flue gas at 200°C and gas density of 0.745 kg/m³. Refer to the performance table for guidance during selection, and adjust performance as needed for non-standard operational conditions.
