9-28 Series Centrifugal Fan for Forging Furnaces and High-Pressure Ventilation

Application

The 9-28 Series Centrifugal Fan is generally used for forging furnaces and high-pressure forced ventilation, and is widely used for material transportation. This type of centrifugal blower can transport air and non-corrosive, non-viscous gases. The temperature of the transported medium generally does not exceed 80 degrees Celsius; the dust and hard fine particles contained in the medium are not more than 150 mg/m³. This type of centrifugal blower can also be used as a high-temperature centrifugal fan for special occasions such as cement kiln decomposition process (machine number 16 or above), steel smelting, etc. (use heat-resistant, high-strength materials instead).


Flow rate and pressure range

The 9-28 Series Centrifugal Fan has a flow rate range: single suction is 200-30,000 m³/h; double suction is 2,200-600,000 m³/h. Pressure range: 3,430-19,700 Pa.

Type

① This type of centrifugal fan has two types: single suction and double suction. The machine numbers (No.) are 4, 4.5, 5, 5.6, 6.3, 7.1, 8, 9, 10, 11.2, 12.5, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, a total of 20 machine numbers.

② This type of centrifugal blower can be made into two types: right-handed or left-handed. Looking from the motor side, if the impeller rotates clockwise, it is called a right-handed centrifugal fan, represented by "right"; if it rotates counterclockwise, it is called a left-handed centrifugal fan, represented by "left".

③ The outlet position of the centrifugal fan is indicated by the outlet angle of the casing. Both "right" and "left" can be made into 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, and 225°, a total of 6 angles.

④ The centrifugal fan transmission modes are A type (No. 4-No. 6.3), D type (No. 7.1-No. 16), and E type.
 

Structure

Fans of No. 4-No. 6.3 are mainly composed of impeller, casing, air inlet, bracket, etc. Fans of No. 7.1-No. 24 are mainly composed of impeller, casing, air inlet, transmission part, etc. F-type transmission is mainly composed of impeller, casing, air inlet, air inlet box, transmission part, etc. Fans can also be equipped with adjustable doors according to user needs. The 9-28 Series Centrifugal Fan has 16 long blades and 16 short blades. After the impeller is formed, it is calibrated for static and dynamic balance, and runs smoothly and reliably. ② The casing is welded with ordinary steel plates into a volute casing. For high-temperature centrifugal fans, heat-resistant materials can be selected according to the temperature conditions, and the casing can also be made into split parts. ③ The air inlet is made into a convergent streamlined overall structure and fixed with a front cover assembly with bolts. ④ The dynamic transmission group consists of the main shaft, bearing box, coupling, etc. The main shaft can be made of high-quality steel or heat-resistant steel according to different uses. Ball bearings or sliding bearings are used. Ball bearings are lubricated with bearing grease, and sliding bearings are lubricated with thin oil.


Performance and Selection

The performance of this type of industrial centrifugal fan is converted according to the dimensionless operating point performance table of the centrifugal fan.

  • The design and use units shall determine the machine number and required power from the performance table and select the motor according to the selected flow rate and total pressure. Other types of motors may also be selected, but the speed and power must be appropriate and shall be indicated when ordering.
  • The performance of each speed in the performance table is divided into 8 operating points according to the flow rate. The performance table shall prevail when ordering.
  • The performance of qualified centrifugal fans leaving the factory is that the total pressure value deviation is +5% at a given flow rate.
  • The parameters provided in the performance table are calculated based on the standard state of the centrifugal fan inlet, that is, temperature t = 20°C, atmospheric pressure: p a = 10300 Pa, relative humidity φ is 50%, and gas density ρ = 1.2 kg/m³. If the centrifugal fan is not used under standard conditions, the performance should be calculated based on the standard conditions. About formula conversion.
