Overview
The 8-09 and 9-12 high-pressure centrifugal fans are engineered to meet the demanding blasting performance requirements of cupola furnaces with melting rates of 1L/h, 2L/h, 3L/h, 5L/h, and 7L/h. They are also ideal for blasting in various furnaces and forging furnaces and are suitable for conveying air and non-corrosive, non-spontaneous combustion, and non-viscous gases. The temperature of the conveying medium does not exceed 80°C, and the dust and hard fine particles contained in the medium are not more than 150mg/m³.
Type
The 8-09 fan is a single-suction fan, available in machine numbers 6.8A, 7.1D, 8D, 8.5D, and 9D. The 9-12 fan is also a single-suction fan, available in machine numbers 6.8A, 7.1A, 7.7A, 8D, and 9D. Both fan types can be made into right-hand and left-hand models. When viewed from the motor end, a clockwise rotating impeller indicates a right-hand fan, and a counterclockwise rotating impeller indicates a left-hand fan. The outlet position of the fan is indicated by the outlet angle of the casing, with available angles of 0°, 90°, and 180°.
Overall Structure
The 8-09 and 9-12 fans consist of an impeller, casing, air inlet, transmission group, seal, and base. The 8-09 machine numbers feature a local assembly structure, while other machine numbers adopt an overall structure.
-
Impeller: The blade shape is designed according to the latest high-efficiency forward fan theory. After formation, the impeller is calibrated for static and dynamic balance, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
-
Casing: The volute casing is welded from ordinary steel plates.
-
Air Inlet: Made into a convergent streamlined overall structure and fixed with the front cover assembly by bolts.
-
Transmission Part: Comprising the main shaft, bearing box, and coupling. The main shaft is made of high-quality steel. Rolling bearing grease lubricates 8-09 type No.7.1D and No.8D, while rolling bearing oil lubricates 8-09 type No.8.5 and No.9.
Performance and Selection
-
The performance parameters listed for the 8-09 and 9-12 fans are based on air at t = 20°C, atmospheric pressure p_a = 101.3x10³ Pa, and gas density ρ = 1.2kg/m³. If actual conditions differ, performance should be adjusted accordingly.
-
Dimensionless total pressure and static pressure curves for the 8-09 and 9-12 fans are provided.

Purchase Precautions: Users should measure the actual working conditions of the cupola (mainly pressure parameters) before purchasing a fan. Select the fan based on the melting rate of the cupola and the required air volume and pressure to ensure the fan meets actual needs and avoids mismatches.
