Application

The F4-72 fan, made of stainless steel, is used to convey corrosive gases, maintaining the same performance and foundation dimensions as the 4-72 model.The 4-79 centrifugal fan is ideal for indoor ventilation in general factories and large buildings. It effectively handles air and non-corrosive gases, ensuring safety and efficiency. The gas transported must be non-self-igniting, non-toxic, and free from sticky substances, with dust and hard particles not exceeding 150mg/m³, and temperatures not surpassing 80°C.

Type

Available in clockwise and counterclockwise rotations, the fan's direction is determined by the impeller rotation when viewed from the motor end. The right-hand fan rotates clockwise, while the left-hand fan rotates counterclockwise. The outlet position of the fan is indicated by the outlet angle of the casing. Fans from No. 3 to No. 12 are manufactured in a single type for user convenience, allowing installation at the required position without specifying during ordering. No. 3 outlet position adjustment range is 0°225°, at intervals of 45°. The adjustment range for No. 3.5No. 6 is 0°225° at intervals of 22.59°, with A-type transmission. No. 7No. 8 outlet position adjustment range is 0°180°, at intervals of 22.59°, with C-type transmission. Fans No. 10No. 20 have an E-type transmission mode, with fixed outlet positions of 0°, 90°, and 180° that must be specified when ordering. Double air inlet forms for No. 10~No. 20 also have fixed positions and E-type transmission.

Overall Structure

Fans No. 3No. 6 in the 4-79 series include impellers, casings, and air inlets, directly connected to the motor. Fans No. 7No. 20 include these parts plus transmission components.
Impeller: Features 16 backward-inclined arc thin-plate blades, a curved front disc, and a flat rear disc made of steel plates. Balanced for optimal air performance, high efficiency, low noise, and smooth operation.
Casing: No. 3No. 12 casings are made as a single piece and cannot be disassembled. Casings for No. 14No. 20 are in two parts, joined by bolts along the horizontal plane.
Air Inlet: An integral part installed on the fan's side, with a curved axial cross-section to facilitate smooth gas entry with minimal loss.
Transmission Part: Comprising the main shaft, bearing box, rolling bearing, and pulley.
 

Performance and selection

Fan Performance: Parameters such as air volume, total pressure, shaft speed, power, and efficiency define the fan's performance, with interdependent relationships between them.
 
Fan Selection: The performance parameters listed reflect standard air condition performance. For non-standard conditions, convert performance to standard conditions using relevant formulas before selecting from the performance table. Throttling devices are commonly used for flow rate adjustments but may waste energy if the actual flow rate significantly exceeds requirements. Adjusting fan speed or replacing the fan with a lower-pressure model is more economical. If the throttling device is fully open and flow remains too low, modify the pipe network to reduce resistance or increase fan speed. Belt-driven fans can adjust speeds by changing pulley diameters, but the maximum speed should not exceed the performance table's specified limit.
