The 10-16 high pressure centrifugal fan is designed for specialized applications such as bottom ventilation in sulfuric acid furnaces, general forging furnaces, and high-pressure forced ventilation systems. It is also extensively used for material transportation in industrial settings. This centrifugal fan can efficiently transport air and non-corrosive, non-spontaneous combustion, non-viscous gases with a maximum medium temperature of 80°C and containing dust and fine particles up to 150mg/m³.

10-16 High Pressure Centrifugal Fan for Sulfuric Acid Furnaces

Application

10-16 type high pressure centrifugal fan is specially used for the bottom ventilation of 2000 sulphuric acid furnaces per year, as well as general forging furnaces and high pressure forced ventilation, and is widely used for material transportation. This type of centrifugal fan can be used to transport air and non-corrosive, non-spontaneous combustion, non-viscous gas. The temperature of the transported medium generally does not exceed 80°C, and the dust and hard fine particles contained in the medium are not more than 150mg/m³.

Type

①This centrifugal fan is single suction. There are four machine numbers: 6.8, 7.1, 7.4, 8.1.
② This centrifugal fan can be made into two types: right-hand or left-hand. When viewed from one end of the motor, if the impeller rotates clockwise, it is called a right-hand centrifugal fan, represented by "right"; if it rotates counterclockwise, it is called a left-hand centrifugal fan, represented by "left".
③The outlet position of the centrifugal fan is expressed by the outlet angle of the casing. Both "right" and "left" can be made into 0°, 90° and 180°, a total of three angles.
④The centrifugal fan adopts D-type transmission mode and is made into an integral structure for easy installation.
 

Structure

The centrifugal fan consists of an impeller, a casing, an air inlet, a transmission part, an integral bracket, etc.
①The impeller has 14 long and 14 short blades, all of which are forward curved. After the impeller is formed, it is calibrated for static and dynamic balance, so it runs smoothly and reliably.
②The casing is welded with ordinary steel plates to form a volute casing as a whole.
③ The air inlet is made into a convergent streamlined overall structure and fixed to the front cover assembly with bolts.
④The transmission part consists of the main shaft, bearing box, coupling, etc. The main shaft is made of high-quality steel. The bearing box is an integral structure and adopts rolling bearings. The rolling bearings are lubricated with full-loss system oil.
⑤The overall bracket is welded with ordinary steel plates and steel sections.

Performance and selection

  • The design and use units shall determine the machine number and required power from the performance table and select the motor according to the selected flow rate and total pressure. Other types of motors may also be selected, but the speed and power must be equivalent and shall be indicated when ordering.
  • The performance of each speed in the performance table is divided into 6 performance points according to the flow rate. Please refer to the performance table when ordering.
  • The performance of qualified centrifugal fans leaving the factory complies with relevant national regulations.
