In the mining sector, Brazil's Vale S.A., a global mining giant, has set the benchmark for the industry with its exceptional technological capabilities, outstanding commitment to sustainability, and strong sense of corporate social responsibility. As a Fortune Global 500 company, Vale S.A. demands the highest standards from its partners in terms of technology, product quality, and responsiveness. Decent Machinery, with its superior technical expertise and reliable solutions, has become a trusted long-term partner of Vale S.A..
2015: The Beginning of Trust
In 2015, Vale S.A. launched its first coal mining project in Mozambique, a challenging open-pit mine with high extraction volumes, high dust concentrations, and proximity to residential areas. The project had three key requirements for ventilation equipment:
High Explosion-Proof Standards: The equipment must have exceptional explosion-proof performance to handle the complex mine environment.
Low Noise Operation: The noise level during operation must be controlled to below 85 decibels to protect the living environment of nearby residents.
User-Friendly Operation: The equipment must be simple and intuitive to operate, considering the technical level of local operators.
Ultra-quiet explosion-proof axial flow fan for mining
Vale S.A., cautious about its first equipment purchase from China, sought design proposals from multiple locations worldwide and conducted comparative tests on samples. After three years of rigorous testing, only Decent Machinery's equipment remained stable and reliable by 2019.
What Did Decent Machinery Do for Vale?
Explosion-ProofChallenge: Implemented a welded duct structure and high-explosion-proof-rated motors to ensure safe operation in complex environments.
Noise Challenge: Designed the fans for quiet operation, optimized the diffuser structure, and added soundproof covers to keep the noise level below 85 decibels.
Ultra-quiet-muffler cover
Operational Challenge: Upgraded the equipment control system with a graphical interface for one-touch intelligent operation, reducing training costs.

2019: Deepening Cooperation at Vale's Brazilian Headquarters
In early 2019, Vale S.A.'s headquarters decided to collaborate with Decent Machinery again for mining projects in Brazil. Vale S.A.'s senior technical engineer, Rainier Ferreira, flew to China for a three-day in-depth technical exchange with our team. We discussed the electrical design, structural details, and noise reduction measures of the equipment. Our solution was successfully reviewed and stamped by Vale S.A.. Subsequently, our sales team was invited to Vale S.A.'s Shanghai office to sign the second cooperation agreement.

2015-2025: Long-Term and Stable Global Service
From 2015 to the present, our equipment has operated reliably in Vale S.A.'s projects, even under extreme conditions, with minimal maintenance required. We have provided customized solutions for multiple global projects of Vale S.A., becoming a core supplier. As a Vale S.A. engineer stated, "In extreme environments, what truly matters is stability and responsiveness. Decent Machinery has delivered on both!"
