These systems offer highly efficient filtration, capturing fine particles and preventing harmful emissions from escaping into the environment. 1. Asphalt Plant – Organic Chemistry
 
In asphalt processing, the preparation and application of hot-mix asphalt release various pollutants, including gases and solid particles. For example, combustion in dryer burners and heating equipment generates flue gases, while truck transportation and mixing processes may lead to odorous vapor emissions. Additionally, dust emissions primarily originate from dryers.
 
To address these emissions, baghouse dust collectors are widely used. They not only effectively capture dust but also allow the captured dust to be recycled back into the production process. 2.Oil Shale – Organic Chemistry
 
Oil shale is a significant potential energy resource, with vast reserves, particularly in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming in the United States. By high-temperature distillation, oil shale can be used to extract shale oil. However, the refining process also generates substantial pollutants, including carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, particulate matter, and sulfur dioxide, as well as trace hazardous substances.
 
To mitigate these emissions, baghouse dust collectors are also a key solution. In high-temperature emissions scenarios, selecting the appropriate filter material is crucial. For example, in shale oil production, Teflon® is a suitable material, capable of handling temperatures above 402°C and corrosive gases such as SO₂. Typical parameters include:
