DECENT MACHINERY Ships Custom Explosion-Proof AHU Units for Middle East Offshore Project
Posted on2026-07-29
Decent Machinery has successfully finalized the full container loading and shipment of tailor-made explosion-proof HVAC systems, marking a landmark delivery for a core offshore oil & gas cooperation project with a leading regional energy enterprise in the Middle East.
This flagship project targets offshore drilling platforms operating within CT6 high-risk hazardous explosion-proof zones, where facilities are subject to perpetual extreme operating conditions including intense solar radiation, persistent high ambient temperature and severe salt fog corrosion. Centered on four core technical demands—anti-corrosion performance, intrinsic explosion-proof safety, moisture resistance and long-duration stable continuous operation—Decent’s dedicated R&D team carried out comprehensive customized optimization across all unit assemblies. The complete suite of equipment has passed stringent third-party BV international certification, fully compliant with global top-tier offshore industrial safety specifications.
The whole project cargo is allocated into 8 full shipping containers with scientific classification: 3 containers housing CFP main units, 2 containers loaded with CDP units, and the remaining 3 containers stocked with matched ventilation pipelines, thermal insulation cotton and a full spectrum of auxiliary fittings. Characterized by thousands of irregularly shaped spare parts, bulky main equipment and scattered small accessories, the shipment posed complex logistical and loading challenges. To eliminate material omission and maximize internal container space utilization for reduced ocean freight expenditure for the client, Decent’s logistics team formulated detailed itemized loading checklists and engineered optimized spatial layout schemes well in advance of shipment.
Decent’s loading execution team boasts over two decades of accumulated expertise in container stuffing and forklift operation. Professional forklift operators collaborated seamlessly with on-site field staff to accomplish the entire loading schedule within just two working days. Comprehensive visual documentation was captured layer by layer upon completion of each stacking phase for full traceability of the whole shipment process. Robust cargo reinforcement solutions including cross-lashing packing belts and triangular wooden bracings were deployed inside every container to mitigate risks of surface abrasion and structural collision during prolonged transoceanic transit. Despite harsh on-site temperatures plunging below minus ten degrees Celsius, all on-site staff alongside the client’s designated supervisory representatives remained stationed at the loading yard, working overtime deep into the night to complete full stuffing procedures.
Attaching paramount strategic importance to this offshore benchmark project, the client’s headquarters dispatched professional supervisors to conduct full on-site witnessing of the entire loading workflow. The client supervision team delivered high recognition of Decent’s standardized, rigorous and fully controllable shipment management protocols.
All 8 sealed shipping containers are now ready for maritime transit to the Middle Eastern regional hub port. Decent Machinery holds full confidence that this batch of custom-engineered explosion-proof HVAC equipment will deliver consistent, secure and reliable performance on offshore drilling platforms, and jointly unlock greater long-term operational value for our strategic energy partner.
Moving forward, Decent Machinery will continue to deepen customized high-end industrial equipment solutions for global offshore hazardous-area industries, underpinning safe, efficient and sustainable operation for worldwide energy clients through persistent technological innovation and full-lifecycle professional service.
