Air Handling Unit (AHU for short) is one of the important components in the air conditioning system, mainly used for filtering, heating, cooling, humidifying, dehumidifying and other processing air. The structure of AHU includes the following parts:

The inlet air port filters the outside air through the filter and sends it to the inside of the AHU for treatment; the outlet air port sends the processed air into the air delivery pipe for further distribution to each room.
Filter: The filter is one of the most basic components inside the AHU, and is mainly used to filter harmful substances such as dust, bacteria, and viruses in the air. According to needs, AHU usually sets multi-stage filters, including filters of different levels such as initial effect, intermediate effect, and high efficiency.
Heat exchanger: The heat exchanger is another important part of the AHU, mainly used for heat transfer. AHU is usually equipped with heating and cooling equipment such as cold water, hot water, and steam, and the air is cooled or heated through a heat exchanger to meet the needs of different seasons and usage environments.
Humidifier/Dehumidifier: In some special environments, the air needs to be humidified or dehumidified. AHUs are usually equipped with humidifiers and dehumidifiers to adjust the humidity in the air to meet the needs of users.
Fan/Blower: The fan/blower is the core part of the AHU and is mainly used to circulate air, drive air through filters, heat exchangers, humidifiers/dehumidifiers and other equipment for processing. According to different needs, AHU is usually equipped with multiple fans/blowers to achieve different air volume and pressure processing.
Air duct: The duct is the ductwork that carries the air from the AHU to the room. There are many types of air ducts, including rectangular air ducts, circular air ducts, and oval air ducts.
Controller:The function of the controller is to control the work of various parts in the AHU. The controller is usually composed of sensors, computers and control panels, which can realize functions such as automatic control and remote control.
