Air-cooled modular units are integrated central air-conditioning equipment based on modular technology, with air as the cooling (heat) medium, as a cooling (heat) source and dual-use type.
The air-cooled modular units on the market are divided into single cooling type and heat pump type. The unit has the advantages of high efficiency, low noise, reasonable structure, easy operation, safe operation, easy installation and maintenance.
It is widely used in hotels, shopping malls, office buildings, exhibition halls, airports, gymnasiums and other public places, and can meet the different requirements for the use of air-conditioning systems in electronics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, textiles, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, machinery and other industry processes.
Product Features
1. It is a central air-conditioning unit with air as the cooling (heat) source and water as the cooling (heat) medium for supply, i.e., the condenser is a finned heat exchanger, and the evaporator is a heat exchanger for water-fluorine heat exchange applications, such as casing, shell-and-tube and plate heat exchangers.
2. As a cooling and heating source of integrated equipment, air-cooled heat pump eliminates cooling towers, cooling water pumps, boilers and the corresponding piping system and other accessories, the system structure is simple and energy-saving, especially for the lack of water in the region.
3.Air-cooled heat pump units are often a preferred and effective supplement in the design of many HVAC projects with cold winters and hot summers, where there is neither a heating boiler nor a heating network, but where year-round air conditioning is required.
4. Its and fan coil, air conditioning box and other end devices composed of centralised, semi-centralised central air-conditioning system has the advantages of flexible layout, diverse control methods.
5. Theoretically applicable environmental conditions:
Refrigeration: ambient working condition 21℃~43℃.
Heating: ambient working condition -15℃~20℃.
System principle
The chilled water from the unit is transported to the fan coiler in each room, and after absorbing the heat of the air in the room, the temperature of the water rises, and then it is gathered to the total return pipe, and the return water is transported to the return port of the unit with the chilled water pump.
After the evaporator cooling back into chilled water output, so the cycle can continue to absorb the heat of the room, thereby reducing the air temperature of the room.
Type Selection
In general, the compressor type for air-cooled modular units is selected based on the range of cooling capacity.

The number of units should be based on the size of the project, the air-conditioning load changes. The number of units is more conducive to flexible adjustment, combination of energy saving; the number of units is less conducive to saving equipment investment, floor space and maintenance management.
