Maintenance is essential for mining fans, though users may not pay much attention or have a deep understanding of it. So, what specific maintenance tasks are required? The following article will introduce them one by one.

.Before using the mining fan, check if all fasteners are complete, if the connections are firm and reliable, if the operation is flexible, and if there are any abnormal sounds.
.During operation, check if the lubrication system is working properly and if there is any excessive vibration.
.The FBD series is equipped with two motors. When wiring, each motor should be tested individually. The FB series fan is equipped with a single motor, and the motor's rotation direction should match the direction of the arrow.
.During transportation and installation, avoid significant impacts to prevent deformation of the housing, which could cause friction between the blades and the casing.
.For the FBD series counter-rotating fans, start the first-stage fan first. Once it is operating normally, then start the second-stage fan.
.The diameter of the air duct used with the mining fan must be larger than the diameter of the fan's impeller to reduce the resistance of the duct and improve ventilation efficiency. For mining fans above 2×18.5KW, a reinforced duct should be used to prevent high wind pressure from cracking the duct. Regularly clean the noise reduction components inside the casing.
.For high-power local ventilation fans, regularly lubricate the front and rear bearings of the motor to extend its service life. Clean dust and debris from the perforated plate and keep the noise reduction material clean to improve noise reduction effectiveness.
.The exposed section of the stripped motor lead should be no more than 1.5mm, and the insulation resistance should not be less than 1 megaohm. The grounding wire inside the fan must be correctly and reliably connected.
.When the mining fan is not in use, it should be placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent moisture and corrosion.
