1.Design Principles of Spray Absorbers

Recycling of Particulates: Recycled particles improve the utilization rate of absorbents and reduce operational costs.

Niro spray absorber reactors are designed to maximize gas-slurry interaction using a vortex flow. Flue gas enters through a composite gas disperser, ensuring even distribution and effective mixing with the atomized slurry.
 
Efficient Mixing: The gas disperser aligns with the spray nozzle to create a uniform slurry droplet cloud, enhancing reaction rates.
 
Particle Handling: Around 30% of the dry particles settle at the reactor's base and are discharged via flap valves, while the rest are captured in the baghouse.
 
Thermal Insulation: The reactor is insulated to prevent heat loss and condensation, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
 
3.Spray Nozzle Technology
 
The spray nozzle is a critical component of the absorber, responsible for atomizing the slurry into fine droplets. There are three main types of nozzles: rotary, dual-fluid, and atomizing nozzles.
 
Rotary Atomizing Nozzles: Widely adopted in commercial systems, these nozzles ensure uniform slurry dispersion and rapid drying, preventing wall buildup.
 
Customizable Design: Depending on the specific requirements, reactors can be designed with different length-to-diameter ratios to optimize gas-droplet interaction.
